Los Angeles' Glue Magazine's May/June 2000 issue included an article about a long lost Car-themed compilation that old school Beck producer Gus Hudson put together in the late 80s. The comp featured a track by Beck friend Steve Moramarco's band Bean called American Car, which Beck contributed backing vocals to. The issue includes the song on a flexidisc.
