Before the MTV 7" came out, Beck and Bean went up to San Francisco to play some gigs to promote the release. Gus Hudson, who recorded and put out the 7", rode up with them but didn't get the 7" sleeves done in time for the trip up the coast, so at a copy shop in San Francisco he put together a quick green sleeved version with what graphics he had on his person. The result is a xeroxed green sleeve of the vinyl label, and a small thumbnail of the cover on the bottom right corner. He only did a 100 that way, just to sell at the shows. Later at the record release party at Raji's in Los Angeles, he gave away the remainder of green sleeve MTV 7"'s at the merchandise table he had set up, thereby one upping one of Beck's rarest releases creating an even rarer one for you completists to look out for.
